Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company
- Does your insurance plan include mental health insurance benefits?
- Does your plan allow telehealth appointments?
- Are you limited to a certain number of mental health appointments each year?
- Do you need a referral from a doctor, or approval in advance from the insurance company?
- What will you have to pay per session? Some plans have a deductible, coinsurance, or copayment.
